Rane Bathing & Accessibility is a division of Norcom, which began in 1990 in Traverse City, Michigan. Norcom was formed as a composite product manufacturing company in order to meet the needs of a growing market demand for composite molds, tools, and premium quality finished composite products.
Norcom was founded by a pioneer in the walk-in tub industry, Jim DeKraker. During the 1970’s and early 1980’s, Jim was instrumental in the design, development, patenting, tooling, and manufacturing of one of the very first commercial bathtubs with a door for SilCraft.
Rane has been manufacturing quality bathing systems for care facilities since 1999. Bathing promotes a feeling of well-being and is mentally and physically beneficial, which is why Rane is dedicated to producing innovative bathing systems. Rane’s bathing systems are designed to be functional and affordable, yet will give your bathing area an upscale look. Featuring numerous features and options, a bathing system from Rane will enhance the bathing experience for the resident.
