Unique Features of the RJ15 Caribbean Commercial Tub
Rane designed the Caribbean to be a freestanding tub so the caregiver has access from all sides. The Walk-in door allows easy access for those who can step into the tub and for those who need to transfer from a wheelchair. The 600 lb weight capacity should handle any resident. Rane’s Walk-in door features the KeyLock™ system that ensures no leaks. You can also count on the secondary lock that keeps residents from unwittingly opening the door while tub is in use. With one touch, the built-in reservoir can be filled with water via the anti-scald valve, ready for the next bather while one is still bathing. The Caribbean features the greatest time-efficient solution for disinfecting between bathers with a built-in system that minimizes the risk of cross-infections. Then with one touch of a button the Fast Fill Reservoir fills the tub with 50 gallons of warmed water in 75 seconds. Your residents will enjoy their relaxing warm bath in a comfortable contoured reclined position and your caregivers will appreciate the ease of use as well as the extra storage and the hand wand which is also regulated by a thermostat.

You may want to add the Clean Rane Air Spa System to enhance the therapeutic experience of bathing. The bather is warmed by hydromassage of hundreds of tiny warmed air bubbles which stimulate the circulatory system and aides in relaxation, soothing of muscle and joint pain and inflammation while gently washing away dirt and germs. CleanRane™ Air Spa System
CleanRane™ Air Spa System enhances the therapeutic and relaxing effects of bathing and provides a pleasant experience for the resident. Hydromassage provides millions of preheated air bubbles in the water which increases stimulation of peripheral blood circulation, reduces pain and inflammation in the joints, gently massages away dirt, and induces deeper relaxation.
Door Hinge Option
The RG9 Victoria and RJ15 Caribbean are both side-entry bathing systems, accessible through a swinging door located on the side of the tub. These bathing systems have the option of a left hand or right hand door swing. The plumbing package of the bathtub always follows the door hinge (or hand). When choosing between left-hand or right hand, you must consider the layout of your bathroom and toilet setup.
Autofill
Autofill is a timesaving feature available on the RR7-II Atlantic and the RS8 Geneva that allows caregivers to fill the tub to a preset level while completing other tasks or collecting the resident. With the push of a button, the tub fills to a preset level (24 gallons for the RR7-II and 64 gallons for the RS8 models), eliminating waiting/observation time.

Plumbing hookups are at the end of the tub where the control panel is located.
Side Plumbing Configuration
Plumbing hookups are on the side of the tub opposite of the door.
Island Plumbing Configuration
Allows for 360 ° unobstructed access for the caregiver, with no visible hoses or cords. (The plumbing hookups are under the tub).
Battery Backup
The RR7-II Atlantic has optional battery backup. This enables use of the tilting function in the event of a power outage. (This is a standard feature on the Height Adjustable model of the RS8 Geneva.)
Rane Disinfectant Solution
Rane’s lemon-scented is effective against H1N1 Influenza A virus, TB, MRSA, Hepatitis B/C, VISA, VRE, HIV-1, and pathogenic fungi. Concentrated for economical use, it disinfects and cleans at a dilution ratio of 2 oz. of disinfectant solution to 1-gallon of water. Rane Disinfectant Solution is available in four one-gallon bottles per case.
